DR. LEWINA YOUN
Dr. Lewina Youn is a certified endodontist. She graduated from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada with B.S. in Biology prior to obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Southern California, School of Dentistry.

At USC, Dr. Youn received numerous prestigious awards for excellence in dentistry. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society (selected from the top 10% of the graduating class).
Dr. Youn then worked as a general dentist in Pasadena, California for 2 years before returning to the University of Southern California to complete her advanced training in Endodontics. While attending the endodontic residency, Dr. Youn received extensive training in both non-surgical and surgical endodontic procedures.

During dental school, Dr. Youn met love of her life and married to her husband who is now an oral surgeon and they have two beautiful daughters. Upon completion of her advanced training in endodontics, her family decided to move to Washington State and they enjoy rooting for the Seattle Seahawks and exploring indoor and outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. When not at the office, Dr. Youn enjoys camping with her family in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Aside from private practice, Dr. Youn also holds an affiliate faculty position at the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics where she enjoys teaching clinical endodontics.

Dr. Youn is also involved with many affiliations and is the president of the Washington State Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Jae M. Shin
Dr. Jae M. Shin is a trained endodontist with degrees in Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Masters in Endodontics (MS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oral Health Sciences.

Dr. Shin finished his dental training at the University of Michigan, where he also earned his MS and PhD degrees. Upon graduation, Dr. Shin spent three years practicing in his hometown Ann Arbor, MI prior to moving to Washington state. Dr. Shin has a passion for excellence in patient care and loves caring for his patients. He also maintains his strong value towards academics and teaching, and has published in numerous high impact scientific journals covering a wide range of topics including endodontics and dentistry, cell biology, oral microbiology, and oral cancer.

Dr. Shin met his wife in dental school and has now four happy and energetic boys at home. A family of six! During his off days, he loves to spend time with his family, travel, make delicious home cooked meals and watch Saturday Michigan football games.
